For those of you with your own pool in the Atlanta Metro area, you may be seeing the telltale signs of summer algae accumulating in your gleaming blue waters. To prep you for the late summer pool cleaning you’ll be doing, here are some tips to help. pH Acidity Water is measured for its acidic qualities on a pH scale. The more acidic water is, the more likely algae is to develop and contaminate the water.
